Clinical supervision is no doubt the most important and significant step in completing your Licensed Professional Counselor goal. While I absolutely enjoy working with clients, I also find a lot of joy in supervising emerging counselors. I value authenticity and believe that the therapeutic relationship in supervision can be the catalyst for meaningful counselor growth. I provide feedback and clear direction that builds on your education, and develops your professional growth.

  • Weekly focus on the Supervisee’s development of personal identity as a therapist, including issues of emotional awareness, motivation, competence, and autonomy. This weekly meeting will also ensure you will document your clinical hours properly with the right tools to meet state licensure requirements.

  • You will begin with receiving direct observation and gradually obtain designated clients.

    A significant amount of time in supervision is dedicated to building competency through guided readings, case reviews, and supervisor-guided self-assessment.

    My training incorporates mock sessions for diagnosis, treatment planning, and counseling method implementation before receiving clients.

  • You will have the ability to learn documentation requirements for various entities… i.e. “need to know”, insurance panel requisites, court/legal subpoenas, psychiatric assessments, and quality assurance purposes.

  • Connection and accountability is so important during the LPC-Associate phase. Good professional relationships make the process more enjoyable, inspires self-awareness and creativity, and ensures follow-through.

Supervision FEES

$300 PER MONTH

I charge a reasonable monthly fee for supervision. Supervision is offered in a face to face and virtual format, depending on preference. As your Supervisor I am, also available to you via email, text, phone call and even in emergency situations.  Rather than charge for every moment shared, I have instituted a monthly payment plan which blankets your guidance outside of our mandated weekly meeting.
